“They have a wonderful musical sound, a great acoustic sound that works well in our building…they play a lot of different types of instruments and have a lot of musical talent and knowledge. And, they’re just nice people.”

Petteway and white are known for a diverse collection of musical instruments, including acoustic guitar, mandolin, Celtic harp, banjo, piano, dulcimer and various world percussion instruments.

Petteway is particularly known for his finger picking acoustic style, for which readers of Acoustic Guitar Magazine named him one of the Top 50 Guitarists of All Time.

White is proficient on a variety of instruments, specializing in piano, mandolin, harp and dulcimer. The sounds they create together draw strong influence from Appalachian and Celtic music, and include original and traditional numbers.

The Ashe Arts Center is a gallery space with general admission seating located at 303 School Ave. in West Jefferson. This show is expected to sell out.
