Breakfast, Beverage, Bid!
Join us for the 35th Annual Valle Crucis Community Park Benefit Auction on Saturday, August 25, at the Apple Barn at the Valle Crucis Conference Center. Indulge in scrumptious breakfast fare, sip a morning beverage, and raise your hand for the Park!
This year, we welcome auctioneers Jesse Miller and Anne Rasheed to kick off the live bidding. The action will be dynamic, and we always encourage friendly competition! In case you’re shy about raising your hand, we are adding a silent auction to the mix this year, so you can make your bids quietly (but still competitively!).
“We are excited about this event because it is the Park’s 35th anniversary and a vital part of our nonprofit’s financial health. We depend on donations to help sustain the Park as one of the High Country’s most cherished community assets. This year we’re counting on the auction to raise record funds for the Park to help us provide outstanding services and continue to recover from spring flooding,” Executive Director Ashley Galleher said.
When: Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
Where: The Apple Barn, Valle Crucis Conference Center (corner of 194 S and Lower Crab Orchard Rd.)
What: Auction to support park, breakfast ($8), cash bar
Why: Show your love for the Valle Crucis Community Park and have fun!
When the doors open at 9 a.m., grab some food and drink, preview the live auction items, and begin bidding on the silent auction. At 9:30 a.m., live bidding begins, and the silent auction will close shortly after. We’ve got some great items this year, so don’t miss out! Donations for the event will be accepted until August 18.
