If you want to say you attended the 20th anniversary of Banff in Boone, then your only bet is to stand outside the Schaefer Center on Rivers Street and try to talk your way into a ticket.
One of the most popular destinations on the world tour in North America, The Banff Mountain Film Festival in Boone is sold out, according to the website of ASU Outdoors Programs, which presents the popular event each spring.
This is the 20th anniversary of the festival in Boone, and organizers say they have a lot of special events planned. The festival takes place at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Appalachian State University.
The event is exactly one month away, slated to take place on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19, which are the two days of the public screening.
