The first winter morning sunrise over Boone from Howard’s Knob. Winter starts off on the warm side with two days of unseasonably mild weather ahead before cold air returns for Christmas Eve. Saturday will be rainy with the high temperature getting close to 60 degrees. Will there be a White Christmas in the High Country? Ray’s Weather says we’ll see snow flurries Sunday night into Christmas morning with maybe a dusting of snow around Christmas morning . . . “A few snow flurries may decorate the early morning.” says Ray.
