Weekly Crime Reports: Activity and Arrests in Boone and Watauga County, April 4 – 11

April 3

 

INCIDENT: Escape from custody or resist arrest was reported at 165 Clawson St. in Boone.

 

April 4

 

INCIDENT: Breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny from motor vehicle and vandalism were reported at Grandfather Campground, 125 Riverside Drive.

 

ARREST: A male suspect, 60, of 1336 Ravens Ridge Circle in Boone, was charged with violation of a release order/no contact and will appear in court on May 18.

 

April 5

 

INCIDENT: Breaking or entering and larceny were reported at 215 Huffman Road in Vilas.

 

INCIDENT: Larceny of a dog was reported at 5952 N.C. Highway 194 N in Boone.

 

INCIDENT: Burglary – forcible entry was reported at 6875 Meat Camp Road in Todd.

 

April 6

 

INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at 205 Hardaman Circle in Boone.

 

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 340 Parkway Forest Drive in Boone.

 

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at Rocky Knob Park Entrance.

 

April 7

 

ARREST: A female suspect, 36, of 704 Worth McNeil Road in Fleetwood, was charged with simple assault and contempt of court/perjury/court violations and will appear in court on May 12.

 

April 8

 

ARREST: A male suspect, 19, of 118 Riva Trace Drive in Cary, was charged with OFA. He was held under a $500 secured bond and will appear in court on May 16.

 

ARREST: A female suspect, 41, of 691 Sherwood Drive in Vilas, was charged with court violations FTP child support. She was held under a $302 secured bond and will appear in court on May 17.

 

ARREST: A female suspect, 24, of 105 Windy Gap Road in Blowing Rock, was charged with two counts of simple assault and will appear in court on May 18.

 

ARREST: A male suspect, 19, of 126 Kenneth B Brown Road in Boone, was charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. He was held under a $10,000 secured bond and will appear in court on May 16.

 

April 9

 

INCIDENT: Breaking and entering and larceny from buildings were reported at 230 Roberts Drive in Boone.

 

INCIDENT: Damage to property was reported at 2819 Russ Cornett Road Unit 1 in Boone.

 

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 259 Ridge View Drive Unit C in Boone.

 

April 10

 

INCIDENT: Breaking and entering, larceny of auto parts and accessories and obtaining property by false pretense were reported at 403 Wards Branch Road in Vilas.

 

ARREST: A male suspect, 34, of 150 Mose Braswell Lane in Newland, was charged with felony obtaining a controlled substance by fraud/forgery and trafficking opium or heroin. He was held under a $25,000 secured bond and will appear in court on May 19.

 

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of 373 B Margo Road in Boone, was charged with FTA misdemeanor larceny. He was held under a $500 secured bond and will appear in court on May 24.

 

April 11

 

INCIDENT: Larceny, damage to property and breaking and entering were reported at 1989 N.C. Highway 194 N in Boone.

 

ARREST: A female suspect, 34, of 429 Roby Eggers Road in Zionville, was charged with discharge firearm encl fear. She was held under a $25,000 secured bond and will appear in court on May 16.
