Open Enrollment for 2016-17 at Two Rivers March 14 – April 22, Lottery Set for April 25

Starting Monday, March 14, open enrollment for the 2016-2017 school year begins at Two Rivers Community School.

Two Rivers is a public-charter, K-8, tuition-free school open to all students. In order to attend Two Rivers Community School a family must fill out an application and enter a lottery system for placement. The lottery is only utilized if there are more applicants than seats per class. Open enrollment will last until April 22 with the school’s Board of Directors drawing names from the lottery on April 25.

Two Rivers Community School is a school without a district; there is not a guaranteed local resource of students. Families that want to attend the school may contact the school’s front office to acquire an application or print an application from the school’s website (tworiverscommunityschool.net) under the enrollment tab. There are no fees and all are welcome. The school’s lottery system is state mandated.

If your family is interested in attending Two Rivers Community School there are a number of upcoming Open Houses where prospective families are welcome to visit the campus, meet the School Director, and learn more about the Two Rivers’ approach to education. Here is a list of Open Houses:

• Tuesday, March 15th, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Friday, March 18th, 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Tuesday, March 22nd, 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Tuesday, April 5th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Friday, April 8th, 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
