Happy Valentines Day!
For about 3 minutes, during sunrise this morning – February 14th (with morning temps around 14º), brilliantly colored skies erupted with a vertical shaft of light piercing skyward above the sun. The effect, called a Sun Pillar, is created when sunlight reflects off the surfaces of tiny ice crystals in thin, high-level clouds. Cupids arrow perhaps 🙂 May Love shine always.
