Christmas Eve at Alliance Bible Fellowship

Invite someone to join you at one of two Christmas Eve services at Alliance Bible Fellowship on Thursday at 5 p.m. or at 7 p.m. Remember that a simple invite could change someone’s life forever. A Country Christmas Eve with Bethel Baptist Church

This free one-hour celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ will take place from 6-7 p.m. in the gym at Bethel School. The program will include traditional Christmas carols, reading of the Christmas story, special music and candlelight for folks of all ages to enjoy. Complimentary food and fellowship will follow across the street at the church. We want you to be included! Please don’t spend Christmas Eve alone.

Christmas Eve/Day at First Baptist Church

Candlelight Communion: Christmas Eve in the sanctuary. For the entire family and community. All are welcome. Join us for music of the season and candlelight communion on the holiest of nights as we welcome the Christ child.

Annual Community Christmas Day Lunch: Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The entire community is invited to share a meal together. No one needs to be alone on Christmas!

Christmas Eve at First Presbyterian Church

Family Service at 5:30 p.m.: Our family service is a 30-40 minute service that will include our children as participants in the Lukan Christmas story.  Parents are encouraged to bring their children dressed as either an angel, shepherd, or as a stable animal or bring a costume with you for them to participate at the appropriate time in worship. We will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with familiar Christmas hymns, ending with candlelight. Childcare will be provided for infants if needed.

Lessons and Carols Service at 7 p.m.: Our lessons and carols service is a 45 minute service that will include various scripture readings, and traditional Christmas hymns, as we light the advent candles one by one welcoming the Christ child among us. The service will include a homily and will conclude with candlelight. Childcare will not be provided.

Christmas Eve at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church

Christmas Eve at Greenway Baptist Church

Christmas Eve at Mount Vernon Baptist Church

Christmas Eve/Day at Saint Elizabeth of the Hill Country

Join one of three Christmas Eve mass services followed by a Christmas morning service at St. Elizabeth. Christmas Eve will feature a 4 p.m. family mass, a 6 p.m. Hispanic mass and an 8 p.m. “midnight” mass. Christmas Eve/Day at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church

St. Luke’s will host Christmas Eve services at 4 p.m. (music begins at 3:40 p.m.) and at 10 p.m. (music begins at 9:30 p.m.) on Thursday. Join the Christmas Day service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday for informal Eucharist with Christmas carols. St. Luke’s is located at 170 Councill St. in Boone. Christmas Eve at St. Mary of the Hills

Join St. Mary of the Hills Episcopal Church on Christmas Eve for a family service, including the children’s Christmas pageant and lots of Christmas carols at 5 p.m, or Midnight Mass at 11 p.m.  The choir will present the Vivaldi Magnificat at 10:30 p.m., preceding Midnight Mass, but come early since there are no breaks for seating during the Magnificat. On Christmas Day, there will be a simple said Eucharist with hymns at noon.  St. Mary of the Hills is on Main Street in Blowing Rock.

Candlelight Service at Rutherwood Church
