The DeLuge — Thursday

Check out The DeLuge at this week’s concert in Banner Elk starting at 6:30 p.m. at Tate-Evans Park. Enjoy their sound of blues, funk and rock as you get ready for the weekend!

Marcy Marxer and Cathy Fink, Tellico — Friday

Folk and bluegrass duo Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer will join Asheville’s own Tellico and their “Appalachiacana” sound. These groups will play from the front porch of the Jones House Community Center in downtown Boone starting at 5 p.m. on Friday. The Concerts on the Lawn series is a popular way to start your weekend in the High Country!

The Harris Brothers — Friday

The Best Cellar in Blowing Rock welcomes this popular group from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday night. Bring a lawn chair and get there early for a good spot. The Best Cellar offers a special lawn menu and a fantastic cash bar. These guys are a favorite in the High Country!

Surefire — Friday

Don’t miss the highly talented musicians behind this group. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. at Valle Crucis Community Park. No admission, although $5 donations to the park per person are recommended and appreciated. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.

The Road Tripp Band — Friday

Check out this country rock group from 6-9 p.m. on Friday at the Riverwalk Bandshell and Park in Newland. Alternate rain location: rock gym at the Avery school. These concerts are free and open to the public. Join them for good times, good music and a fireworks show for the season finale this week!

Blue Grass Blend — Saturday

Ready for a nice glass of wine and some live music? See this group at Linville Falls Winery at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Take in the winery’s excellent views and enjoy your weekend.
