Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for the next Summer concert at St. Mary of the Hills Episcopal Church when Earleine and Lauren come to play on Sunday afternoon, September 16th at 3 pm!

Playing “Americana music with a swirl of folk/rock roots and a blanket of soul,” Earleine (Ashley Wright) grew up in Tennessee just north of Nashville. Lauren (Lauren Hayworth) has a Master’s in Vocal Performance from ASU, writes Americana-style music, and performs regularly around Boone with the jazz ensembles The Mercury Dames and the Good Vibes Jazz Trio. They’ll be joined by fiddler Brandon Holder for this fresh, engaging program, including songs by the Osborne Brothers, Townes Van Zandt, and original music by Wright and Hayworth themselves.

This concert will be on the lawn of the church on Main Street in Blowing Rock if the weather is fair and move inside if it rains. St. Mary’s presents a series of Sunday afternoon concerts featuring regional musicians, as well as students and faculty from Appalachian State, throughout the season.
