It is only 10 weeks to the start of High Country Senior Softball on June 1st. Of course, Old Man Winter wants the last say this week, but spring and the Boys of Summer are right around the bend.

Men 55+ and all women are invited to pick up games every Tuesday at Lees McRae College and Thursday at Watauga County Parks & Rec, both at 10 30 a.m., June through August. These will be fun games for all talent levels. Just bring a mitt and be ready to have fun.

You all are likely excited about this snow storm and skiing, but let’s pray for warm, sunny days by June!
