Feb. 20, 2013. “Share-the-Wealth & Spread-the-Knowledge,” the Watauga County Association of Educators and North Carolina Association of Educators’ scholarship raffle is underway.

The association asks for your help in graduating Watauga High School students going into education and requests your entry into the raffle for a chance to win half of the total ticket sales.

Donations are appreciated as well. Cash and checks made out to “WCAE – Watauga County Association of Educators” are accepted.

Representatives of WCAE will be at the Boone Mall on Sunday, Feb. 24, in the afternoon for sales and to accept your donations.

  • 1 ticket = $3
  • 2 tickets = $5
  • 10 tickets = $20

The raffle runs until Friday, March 8. All non-prize proceeds will benefit the WCAE College Scholarship Fund. Visit www.wataugacountyeducators.org or contact a WCAE member for more information about this worthwhile project.
