Police Seek Info About Verizon Wireless Store B&E, Two Weeks Ago Vehicle Driven Through Store Front

July 1, 2013. High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On June 29 at approximately 2:15 a.m., an alarm call was received by the Boone Police Department from the Verizon Wireless store, located at 246 Wilson Drive in Boone. Officers arrived to find that entry had been gained by breaking the front door glass of the business.  An undisclosed amount of money and merchandise were reported to have been stolen.  

Anyone with information on this crime or any other crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 828-268-6959 / 828-737-0125 or the Boone Police Department at 828-268-6900.  All information will be kept confidential. 

High Country Crime Stoppers pays rewards for information, which leads to arrests; recovery of stolen property; seizure of drugs and the location of wanted persons.

Two weeks ago, a vehicle was driven into the storefront near the Boone Mall, causing an estimated $3,000 in damage.
