Crime Stoppers Alert: Burgundy Jeep Grand Cherokee Possible Getaway Car in Cracker Barrel Armed Robbery

Aug. 15, 2013. High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On Aug. 8, just after 9:00 p.m., an unknown white male entered the Cracker Barrel located at 1601 Blowing Rock Road brandishing a weapon and demanding money.  The suspect fled the area on foot towards the Shops at Shadowline parking lot.  A witness observed a suspicious vehicle in the Shops at Shadowline parking lot during the time of the robbery and it is possible this vehicle picked the assailant up. 

The vehicle is described as a late 1990’s to early 2000’s burgundy Jeep Grand Cherokee with a gray plastic bottom.  The vehicle appeared to be in decent condition with no known abnormalities or modifications.
