Avery County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Burke County Man for Theft of Tools, Machinery

Investigators from the Avery County Sheriff’s Office recovered a significant amount of stolen construction and landscaping tools and machinery on Friday, Sept. 21.

After following up on leads after the arrest of Javier Rodriquez-Gonzales, detectives responded to his residence in Burke County and found a basement full of stolen items, several of which were taken from Avery County homes and businesses.

The list of recovered items includes: four lawn mowers, two pressure washers, four weed trimmers, several chain saws, a leaf blower, an irrigation pump, ladders and numerous tools and drills.
