Are you looking for work but don’t want to miss out on the excitement of winter fun in the High Country? Then make time to head over to Beech Mountain on Wednesday evening for the ski resort’s annual job fair, because they just might have the opportunity you’re looking for this year.

It takes a group of qualified, hardworking professionals to keep the resort running smoothly throughout the winter season. Beech Mountain offers one of the premier snow-sports experiences in the southeast, and it’s time for the administration to add some new players to the team of folks who make that happen every year.

Full- and part-time positions currently available at the ski resort include lift operations, snowmaking, ski and snowboard instructors, parking attendants, food service, childcare, ticket cashiers, grounds maintenance and cleaning, rentals, mountain host, group sales, terrain park, retail and ski patrol.

Employees at Beech Mountain enjoy benefits like discounts in restaurants and retail stores, employee ID cards for skiing and snowboarding, free ski and snowboard lessons upon availability and even discounts on rental equipment for skiing, snowboarding and ice skating.

If any of those jobs sound like they might be right for you, then don’t miss the annual Winter Job Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Beech Mountain Brewing Co. in the resort village.

Make sure you update, print out and bring along your résumé. Job applications will be available on-site, but you can also download one from the resort website, print it out, complete it and bring it with you if you’d really like to come prepared.

Want to know more or have specific questions? Call the resort at 828-387-2011 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesdays or stop by the administration building.
