The Blue Ridge Mountain Club to Host A Summer Solstice Celebration June 21 and 22

June 18, 2013. Join us on June 21 and 22 as we celebrate the longest day of the year! Summer Solstice has become the ‘welcome back’ party and the beginning of summer with plenty of food, fun and music to fill the air.

On Friday, June 21, meet hundreds of your closest friends and neighbors at The Inn at Ragged Gardens for Music on the Lawn. Drinks and light hors d’oeuvres will be served to our members and guests as we dance into the evening.

After your day of adventures, take a break to freshen up and get ready for cocktails and a delicious dinner and music at Watson Gap Pavilion. This year, BRMC is glad to welcome back the Toneblazers, who had everyone dancing at our Peak Fall Weekend last year. After dinner we will have s’mores by the fire.

The cost for the whole weekend of activities is only $60 plus tax per person and does not include horseback riding or fly fishing.
