The Avery Chamber Business Expo Held Tuesday, April 15 with Something for Everyone

April 14, 2014. What do you need for your business and your next gift idea? Join local businesses on Tuesday, April 15 to purchase and locate service items for you and your growing business.

This is not your typical business expo. Come for the day and meet industry leaders to help launch your business idea. Employment related representatives will help you get the right loan, or trained staff that can be subsidized with funds from the government to make your dream of growing your business a reality.

imgresNeed a gift item? The expo will have baskets from The African Hut and jewelry crafted from artists Amara Nata Jewelry, Anibriada Designs, D. Joli Creations and Larson’s Fine Furniture and Wood Creations.

Throughout the day, speakers and industry leaders will discuss topics of healthcare, website design and stop by one of our financial institutions. Who couldn’t use a loan to make much needed home repairs? A representative from Tomboy Tools will demonstrate women-friendly tools. How about a savings account for the kids to start on the path of savings or life insurance to be sure your family will be taken care of in times of crisis.

The Barter Exchange will be sharing how to barter products while keeping your hard earned cash in your pocket.

Festival season is right around the corner, Moretz Signs will be taking your order for those custom signs. How about a class at Mayland Community College? Stop by their booth and register for classes! Enjoy lunch from Carolina Barbecue and River Dog Cafe while finding that much-needed service.

The business expo is open to the general public at no cost from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Bring your business card to enter your name for door prizes and giveaways. Business cards are great networking tools, don’t leave home without them.

Limited space is available for businesses wanting to have a booth to showcase products and services. Call the Avery County Chamber at 828-898-5605 for more information.

Bring your cash, credit card or next great idea as these businesses are open for business and ready to offer great customer service.
