June 4, 2012. Have you ever thought about starting your own business, but didn’t know where to start? Working for yourself can open a new world of possibilities including financial independence, flexibility in scheduling and the ability to make a living doing something that you enjoy.

The ASU Transportation Insight Center for Entrepreneurship is hosting a “Start Your Own Business” workshop series to boost aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in the Watauga County community. The workshops are a series and therefore build upon each other. Space is limited so registration is required.

Two of ASU’s Walker College of Business entrepreneurship professors developed the course material and faculty and staff from ASU will lead the workshops. The workshops are sponsored by the Watauga County Economic Development Commission, Watauga Committee of 100 and Appalachian State University.
