Dec. 3, 2012. Watauga Democrats are organizing their 5th Watauga County “cash mob” for Saturday, Dec. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. with breakfast at the Grandview Restaurant on N.C. 105 in Foscoe.

Following breakfast, the “cash mob” will move up the road to the Country Gourmet store for shopping.

The Grandview Restaurant, across Hwy 105 from the entrance to Seven Devils, offers magnificent views of Grandfather Mountain and its signature hearty breakfasts. It has been an important fixture in the Foscoe community for more than 30 years.

The Country Gourmet, in the Green Mansion Village shopping center on Hwy 105, has been selling a wide variety of kitchen and dining accessories since 1974. Shoppers can get an idea of the full range of the inventory by visiting the shop’s website: www.thecountrygourmet.com.

Cash mob organizer Marsha Walpole said, “We’re happy to be directing our participants to two more of the High Country’s great locally owned businesses. Since it’s Christmastime, everyone can find something affordable at The Country Gourmet, and it’ll be decked out for the holidays.”
