Oct. 11, 2013. Wayne Henderson, talented guitarist and master luthier, will be plucking the strings of his legendary guitars with his trio on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Linville Falls Winery.
There is no charge for the concert, which will take place outside in the crisp autumn air on the covered patio, said tasting room manager Pat O’Brien.
“With the beautiful fall weather, it will be a great day,” O’Brien said.
There is seating available on the patio for those who wish to sit outside and enjoy the music.
There is also indoor seating inside the winery, and the doors will be open to the patio so those inside can still hear the great live music.
Aside from his world-famous acoustic guitars, he is also known for his craft in occasionally crafting other stringed instruments like fiddles, mandolins and banjos.
As always, Linville Falls Winery will offer tastings of their many varieties of wine with a free wine glass with every tasting.
Also available for guests are “build-your-own” picnic baskets featuring local food items, along with cheese trays to enjoy with your wine while you take in the beautiful weather and listen to some great tunes.
Linville Falls Winery is located just south of Newland at 9775 Linville Falls Highway.
