The event will feature guided tours, hors d’oeuvres and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m.
Conveniently located on the campus of The Foley Center at Chestnut Ridge, Appalachian Regional Healthcare System’s new post-acute-care center and the Davant Medical Clinic will work collaboratively with Boone Drug’s Village Pharmacy to serve the community.
The Davant Medical Clinic is located at 623 Chestnut Ridge Parkway in Blowing Rock, NC. The 4,375-square-foot medical clinic was named in honor of the late Dr. Charles Davant, Jr. and his wife, Harriet. In 1948, as Blowing Rock’s pioneer full-time physician, Dr. Davant became the founding father and advocate for healthcare in the community. Dr. Charles Davant, Jr. proudly served patients in his clinic and at Blowing Rock Hospital for more than 50 years. Today, Harriet remains an avid supporter of the advancement of healthcare in Blowing Rock.
As a member of Appalachian Regional Medical Associates, The Davant Clinic provides comprehensive care for patients 18-years and older. The clinic is staffed by established and trusted internal medicine physicians, Dr. Peter Haibach and Dr. John Palmer.
Village Pharmacy is the Boone Drug link to the Blowing Rock community. The full-service pharmacy features a convenient drive-through window and is located at 625 Chestnut Ridge Parkway; neighbors to The Davant Medical Clinic.
