May 3, 2013. The U.S. Forest Service has announced the dates for Kids Fishing Days in the four national forests in North Carolina for spring 2013.
These free events allow families and friends to share in fun and quality outdoor time together while learning about one of our nation’s favorite pastimes – fishing. No experience is needed for families to participate. Adults must accompany all children.
The Nantahala, Pisgah, Uwharrie and Croatan National Forests and partners are hosting Kids Fishing Days as part of National Fishing and Boating week, June 1-9.
