Feb. 20, 2014. For Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation members with “resolutions to be considered for presentation” at the company’s annual meeting, typically held in June, the deadline to submit the resolutions is Friday, Feb. 21 by 5 p.m., according to Carolina Country.

Also, members that wish to be considered to serve on BREMCO’s board of directors have two options of being nominated – either through the nominating committee or petition process.
If by the petition route, the application packet, which can be obtained by contacting Chief Administrative Officer Julie O’Dell-Michie at 800-451-5474, ext. 3202 or JMichie@BlueRidgeEMC.com, must be submitted by 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, and include 15 signatures of members exactly as it appears on their electric service bill.
Applications through the nominating committee are due by 5 p.m. Monday, March 3, and the signature petition is not required through this process.
