Feb. 17, 2015. After much deliberation, three winners of Haircut 101’s annual Hot Lips contest were chosen yesterday. Our very own Ken Ketchie acted as judge once again, and chose three winners from the many entries.
Each year, participants are invited to come into Haircut 101, put on some lipstick, pucker up and kiss a doily to be hung up in the salon. After Valentine’s Day, three winners with the best kisses are chosen to receive great prizes.
This year, approximately 25 participants entered the contest.
This year, the winners are as follows:
- Megan Gower
- Anna Helms
- Lynn Pace
The first place prize was a giftcard to Haircut 101 and a gift card to CoBo. Second place received a Haircut 101 gift card and a gift card to The Local, and third place received a gift card to Haircut 101 and a gift card to Sunrise Grill.
“We have been doing this for more than ten years, and we are definitely going to be doing it again next year,” said Brittany Benton of Haircut 101.
“I think it makes our clients feel special to have an opportunity to be rewarded for doing something as simple as kissing a doily with their best puckered lips.”
