June 18, 2013. Life Care Center of Banner Elk, a skilled nursing and rehabillitation facility, is welcoming a new executive director, Christopher Green.
“This is a great facility-the staff is professional, and the residents are personable,” Green said. “I’m looking forward to serving this community.”
Green most recently served as assistant executive director at Life Care Center of Altamonte Springs, Fla. Prior to that appointment, he was administrator-in-training for Life Care Center of Jacksonville, Fla. His previous career was in real estate.
“Chris comes to Life Care Center of Banner Elk with the same passion for providing great care that our community has come to know and trust,” said John Powell, vice president of parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Blue Ridge Region.
“His passion for caring and his desire to always be the best are just a few of the qualities that made Chris the best choie to lead our Banner Elk center.”
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Green earned is bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Ohio State University and his master’s degree in health administration from the University of North Florida.
Green and his wife, Susan, have two children, Megan and Luke.
