Oct. 14, 2014. If you are a driven, hard-working, customer-service oriented individual interested in working for one of the stouheast’s premier outdoor snow sports venues, then Beech Mountain Resort is looking for you. Beech Mountain Resort is seeking part time, seasonal employees to fill close to 200 positions to help the ski season run smoothly.
According to a release, open positions include front desk sales associate, rental shop management, rental shop associate, food and beverage associates, group sales associates, lift operations, snowmaking operations, ski and snowboard instructors, parking attendants, food services, childcare, ticket cashiers, grounds maintenance, rental associates, mountain hosts, group sales associates, terrain park workers and Ski Patrol.
Though Beech Mountain Resort is used to plenty of employees returning from previous years, they are also anxious to see new faces this year.
“We definitely try to encourage employee morale and make work fun, said Talia Freeman, director of marketing and sales.
“Hours are flexible. We are open seen days a week from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. during the season so we definitely have all types of hours and positions available. We are always very accommodating to employee’s schedules.”
Employment with Beech Mountain Resort comes with its share of perks as well.
“We offer skiing privileges of course,” said Freeman. “We also offer discounts in our shops and several local restaurants and ski shops honor discount incentives.”
A job fair will be held at the Brewery located in the Village of Beech Mountain Resort on Nov. 6. From 5-8 p.m., department heads will be on site to answer questions about potential employment.
