Nov. 10, 2014. Beech Mountain Resort is looking for driven, hard-working, customer service oriented individuals who are interested in working for one of the area’s best now-sports venues. If this sounds like you, you’re in luck.
Beech Mountain Resort will host a Winter Job Fair on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 5-8 p.m. The Winter Job Fair will be held at the brewery located in the resort village.
The resort is hiring dedicated individuals who are interested in working in one of the following areas: lift operations, snowmaking, skiing and snowboarding instructors, parking attendants, food services, childcare, ticket cashiers, grounds maintenance, rentals, mountain host, group sales, terrain park, retail and ski patrol. Positions are full and part-time.
“We strive to create an atmosphere that promotes employee morale,” said Talia Freeman, director of marketing at Beech Mountain Resort.
“It is a positive workplace and employees receive a season pass and other various incentives.”
Interested parties are encouraged to attend the career fair at the resort, and are encouraged to bring their resumes with them. Job applications will be available on site.
“A majority of the positions are seasonal, however, seasonal opportunities can always open doors to the possibility of permanent employment. [The Job Fair] is a great way to meet the department heads and also see the inside of the newly remodeled brewery,” Freeman said. “It provides an easy opportunity to present yourself in person to attain a position at the resort.”
