Sept. 25, 2013. The Appalachian Mountain Brewery in Boone has become so much more than a great place to grab a fresh, local brew. Since it first opened its doors to the community on Valentine’s day, the Brewery has become a place for families to get together, for old friends to catch up and for the community to grow closer over a few brews, some laughs and a few games of giant Jenga.

After partnering with the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce earlier this summer, Appalachian Mountain Brewery is excited to announce the official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber, to take place on Thursday, Sept. 26.
“We are really excited to finally have our official grand opening,” said Jessica Collins, public relations manager of Appalachian Mountain Brewery.
The grand opening will officially begin at 4:30 p.m., with the ribbon cutting ceremony taking place at 5 p.m. During the celebration, there will be live music from Anna Barnett and drink specials all night long. Raffle tickets for Appalachian Mountain Brewery merchandise will also be given out to patrons celebrating with the Brewery.
Don’t forget to bring your friends and the kids. The entire night is family friendly and offers something for everyone.
“We really want this to be a community event,” Collins said.
Corn hole, giant Jenga, delicious brews, live music and more will be available for everyone at the grand opening celebration. Grab some friends and the family and head on out to a great time this Thursday.
