The live music will be centered around Andy Ferrell who is releasing his debut album, “I was Born,” on the day of the festival.

Ferrell can often be found playing at the Brewery. And according to Jessica Collins, the public relations manager of Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Ferrell traditionally plays a combination of country, blues, gospel and bluegrass. But this Saturday he’ll spice things up and play songs from his album for an audience for the first time.

“The customers always love him,” remarked Collins. “He’s definitely a crowd pleaser.”

The album, “I was Born,” will be available for purchase at the Brewery for a special price of $5 during the Down Home festival.
