Thursday Premier Tasting: Riedel Glass Tutorial and Tasting
Peabody’s Wine & Beer Merchant
Thursday, Oct. 18, 5-7 p.m.
Matthew di Cristino of Must brings more of Peabody’s new favorites this Thursday. The wildly popular 2009 Anatomy Cabernet Sauvignon ($28.99) makes it’s farewell appearance. After these last few cases, the next vintage will take it’s place. A 2010 Windrun Pinot Noir, an awesome deal at $18.99, will be showcased. Try the 2009 Fiddletown Cellars Old Vine Zinfandel ($26.49), the 2010 Stepping Stone Rocks White and the Chardonnay based blend ($17.99). Finally, try a recent addition that’s worth the perusal, an impressive ’09 Petite Sirah by Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard ($20.99).
There is a $5 charge for the Premier Tasting so Peabody’s can continue bringing you the bigger and brighter wines in the universe. Peabody’s also extends a 10 percent discount on all tasted wines and 15 percent off (that’s the case discount) on any 6-bottle increments of these wines using cash, check or debit. Percent is deducted from the discount with use of credit cards. In the event that Peabody’s sells out of these wines, the special discounts will be upheld for any special orders placed Thursday night.
Also, please share your thoughts and wine experiences on the Peabody’s blog and Facebook page.
