10th Annual Midnight at the OASIS to Be Held on Saturday, May 4 at Meadowbrook Inn

April 26, 2013. On Saturday, May 4, OASIS will host the tenth annual Midnight at the OASIS to celebrate 35 years of providing service, information and shelter to those in need.

The event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock. Midnight at the OASIS will feature heavy hors d’oeurves, cash bar and dancing to the stylings of Laditude. 

Tickets for the event cost $35 and are available at www.oasisinc.org.

“There are tickets still available,” said Jeanie Futrelle, community services legal coordinator. “If you are purchasing them with a credit card, we ask that you buy them online. If you are buying them with cash or check they can be purchased at our office.”

The OASIS office is located at 225 Birch Street in Boone. 

Since 1978, OASIS, Inc., which stands for Opposing Abuse with Service, Information, and Shelter, has been working to end the cycle of violence in Watauga County, North Carolina. The organization provides temporary shelter, short-term crisis counseling, safety planning, information and referrals to community resources, case management, support groups, legal and medical advocacy and educational programs.
