The Climbing Adventure Camp is intended for kids age 8–16, although exceptions on both ends of this range can be arranged. This program gives campers an opportunity to become more familiar with a variety of land activities that are unique to the High Country.

After meeting each morning at Footsloggers in downtown Boone, campers will have the chance to climb Footsloggers’ climbing wall or try out climbing on real rock in various locations around the area. Campers will develop skills in rappelling, caving and traversing high ropes challenges courses with a zip line and giant swing.

The camp will feature events for both small groups and individuals and will also incorporate various activities related to climbing.

The fee for an entire week at the Climbing Adventure camp will be $475, which will include a Rock Dimensions T-shirt. Family discounts are available for families with two or more siblings attending the camp. Partial week options are also available.

Intermediate Climbing Camp

The Intermediate Climbing Camp is intended for kids age 11 and up with a bit more experience climbing. The five-day camp will cover a variety of climbing styles, including toproping, traditional single-pitch, multi-pitch, bouldering and sport climbing.

This camp follows a progression of skills and is designed to be flexible so that more individualized instruction can be possible. The small instructor-to-camper ratio will help campers make the most out of their experience.

The final day of the camp will culminate with a fun and challenging high ropes challenge course.

The fee for the entire week is $500, including a Rock Dimensions T-shirt. Partial week options are also available.
