If you’re an early bird who likes Business After Hours events, you’re in luck! The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce has another Business Before Hours event from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 7 at Piedmont Federal Savings Bank, 1399 Blowing Rock Rd.

Boone Chamber Director of Operations Barbara Armstrong said that the biggest difference between the “after hours” events and the “before hours” events is that you get to see a whole different set of faces.

“We encourage anyone who is interested in the event or in becoming a member to come as our guests,” said Armstrong.

The last Business Before Hours event was hosted by Piedmont Federal Savings Bank, the Boone Chamber’s prime sponsor, on October 1. The host had an assortment of breakfast food, pastries, drinks and even a raffle.

“Piedmont did a wonderful job,” Armstrong said.

Now, the business will host the quarterly event once more on Thursday, April 7!

“We are excited for them to host, and we’re blessed to have them hold this event,” said Armstrong.

There were more than 50 people in attendance last fall, so it’s not quite as overwhelming as the Business After Hours events. Additionally, Business Before Hours events don’t last as long.

“It helps start things off on a positive note,” said Armstrong. “It’s before your busy work day begins and may fit into someone’s work schedule better than taking them away from their family at night.”

Jump out of bed and go meet local businesses and community members around the High Country! After all, that’s what the Boone Chamber is all about: bringing local business owners together.

The Boone Chamber goes by the motto “shop, dine, give and hire local,” and it intends to keep it that way by supporting you and the local businesses and business owners around you.

“There’s a lot more than meets the eye behind that business card,” Armstrong said.

What better way to find out about that person behind the business card than by enjoying a pleasant conversation over coffee and pastries?

If breakfast sounds like a plan, RSVP to Boone Chamber at 828-264-2225 if you get a chance.
