West Jefferson Holiday Parade, November 18 from 3:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.

West Jefferson has caught the Christmas Spirit! The West Jefferson Holiday parade is the first parade within the surrounding area during the holiday season. Here, participants  are given the opportunity to view local bands, dance groups, church groups, businesses, townspeople, firetrucks, police cars, and Santa participating in one of our favorite holiday events. The parade will last for about an hour and a half, so bring your hot cocoa and a chair, this is an event that you do not want to miss.

Ashe County Holiday Farmer’s Market, Nov 18, 24, and 25

Before you watch the Holiday parade, check out Ashe County’s Holiday Farmer’s market. Crafts, wreaths, Christmas Trees, baked foods, homemade items, holiday decorations, and other various items will be sold. This event is only held on three days, so be sure to stop by and check out everything that the local Ashe County merchants have to offer.
