The first guest artist is Cathy Taylor, an award-winning mixed media artist who currently exhibits at Main Street Gallery in Blowing Rock.  Learn about working with alcohol inks during the May meeting.  “What do you get when you combine Alcohol inks with a paint brush and plastic paper?  Absolutely gorgeous, brilliantly colorful, amazingly textured creations.  Paintings glow like stained glass,” she said. She added that no painting experience is  needed!  Quick, easy, and fun; and very few materials needed!  Taylor currently conducts workshop across the country and is a Signature member of the National Collage Society.
