July 2, 2012. July’s exhibit at the Avery Gallery: Islands to Highlands. This group show examines the relationships between life in the mountains and in more tropical locales. Featuring the art of ceramicists Liz Summerfield and Valerie Schnaufer, studio glass artist Scott Summerfield and painters Susan Garriques, Heidi Fisher and Dava Carson.
This exhibit will be on display from July 4 through August 1, with a reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13.
The Avery Gallery is located at 77 Ruffin St. (behind the Old Hampton Store), Linville. Hours are Wednesday-Saturday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sunday 12-5 p.m.
