High Country Audobon Encourages Beginning Birders and Experts Alike to Attend May 22 Meeting

May 17, 2012. High Country Audubon (HCAS) will have its next meeting Tuesday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Watauga County County Library in Boone. The monthly meeting on May 22 will feature a presentation by NC Audubon’s Curtis Smalling. Curtis Smalling will speak on “Putting your land to work for Birds: Opportunities, partnerships and programs.”

High Country Audubon Society covers Avery, Ashe, Alleghany, Watauga and Wilkes counties and is designed to encourage beginning birders and experts alike to engage in conservation, education and research for the birds of Western North Carolina. HCAS invites the public to attend the monthly meetings and field trips.
