Old Appalachian Twin Theatre Information Session; Potential Users Invited to Attend Open Meeting May 8

May 1, 2012. The Downtown Boone Development Association (DBDA) will conduct an INFORMATION SESSION for all prospective users of The Appalachian Theatre at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 8th.

The session will take place in Room 421 of the Belk Library at Appalachian State University, 218 College Street in Boone, NC 28608. There is ample free parking available in the Belk Library Parking Deck, then follow the signage in the library to the meeting location.

Hosted by the High Country Theatre League, the session will include an update on the “Save The Appalachian Theatre” project, a
viewing of concept renderings for the renovation and new construction at the historic venue, and an overview of organizational, operational and programmatic issues being studied by the theatre task force.

ALL potential user groups are strongly encouraged to attend and will be given ample opportunity to provide input, fill out a needs assessment survey, and get their questions answered by key members of this exciting regional effort.
