The production centers on the senior class of William Ocean High School, telling the story as a flashback by the now 30-something lead, Corey Palmer, who recalls his high school days spent longing for the affection of next-door neighbor Tiffany Houston.

The show will be held at the Harvest House Performing Arts Center located at 247 Boone Heights Dr. in Boone.

About the BeanStalk Community Theatre

The BeanStalk Community Theatre got its start after Amy Beane and Andrea McDonough co-directed productions for the Blue Ridge Community Theatre from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, the pair founded the BeanStalk Little Theatre, which hosted Jingle Jury in December and Night at the Wax Museum in July of the following year. After these two successful productions, the theatre took on the BeanStalk Community Theatre title and continued to promote the performing arts in the High Country.

Before forming the theatre, Beane worked as a certified theatre arts teacher in public schools for 10 years, moving back to Boone to form BeanStalk in 2012. McDonough is a small business owner in the area and a highly involved community member in Boone.
