Running for N.C. Senate, Roy Carter’s Campaign Hosts a Hot Dog Dinner at West Jefferson Town Park Sept. 8

Aug. 31, 2012. Campaigning for the N.C. Senate, Roy Carter hosts  a hot dog dinner on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. in his hometown at West Jefferson Town Park.  

Each ticket costs $10 and entitles attendees to a grilled hot dog dinner and a submission into a dinner for two at The River House Inn and Restaurant in Grassy Creek. 

A press release stated, “[This event] also helps to fund Roy’s campaign to take back the N.C. Senate!” 

The release added, “Help Roy restore the future for our children!” 

Also featured is a home-made dessert auction and other prizes from restaurants and stores in and around Ashe County. Kids under 12 may eat for free. Music and games will also be featured. Pets are welcome, too.
