‘Poisonous Plants: Protecting Your Pastures and Livestock’ Workshop for Farmers Held July 10

July 2, 2012. The Watauga Cooperative Extension will host a workshop on “Poisonous Plants: Protecting Your Pastures and Livestock.” The workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 10 at 6 p.m. at Circle G Farms. This workshop will include identification, impacts on livestock and cultural and herbicide controls. It will be beneficial for all livestock producers. Come prepared to go on a pasture walk. There will be two hours of pesticide recertification credits in the following categories: G, H, K, L, N, O and X.
