Aug. 10, 2012. On Saturday, Aug. 18, 1 to 4 p.m., N.C. Cooperative Extension is offering a hands-on canning class. You will learn how to safely can using a pressure canner and a boiling water bath. The class will be taught at the Agricultural Conference Center located at 252 Poplar Grove Road.
Register by paying $10 in advance at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, 971 W. King St., Boone. Space is limited.
