Julian Price Campgrounds to Host the 1st Annual Blue Ridge Parkway Camp and Naturalist Day August 3-5

July 16, 2012. The 1st Annual Blue Ridge Parkway Family Camp and Naturalist Day is August 3-5 at Julian Price campground, Milepost 297. All programs are free and open to the public. Volunteer opportunities will be available.

12 p.m. – Begin Check-In to Campsites

11 a.m. – Don’t Get Burned: Wildland Fire

There is free camping on August 3 and 4 to the first 20 families to register. The free camping will be for tent sites only.

Call 828-963-5911 to make a reservation. Reservations must be made by July 31 and you must be over 21 to make a reservation.
