'We need your help!'

June 27, 2012. Horse Helpers of the High Country needs your help. They are the only Equine Rescue in Watauga, Avery, Ash and Johnson Counties. They are a nonprofit Equine rescue for sick, starving, abused, abandoned, unwanted or neglected animals in the High Country. They thrive only by financial help from caring people and organizations and the physical help from volunteers, with or without equine experience, who want to help animals live a normal life in a safe environment.

A few of the duties include mucking stalls, cleaning water and feed buckets, feeding, grooming and loving our rescues as well as helping at the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show in July and August.

Email Betsy at bcoan.nicholls@gmail.com or call 704-607-9604 for more information.

Thank you in advance for your help and kindness.
