Enjoy Pancakes in the Park, Help Mountain Alliance Continue to Provide Positive Activities for Watauga Youth

Aug. 30, 2012. Join the Mountain Alliance on Saturday, Sept. 1 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Watuaga County Farmers’ Market for Pancakes in the Park. Only $6 will buy a delicious breakfast, including fluffy pancakes, organic eggs and Bald Guy Coffee. Kids eat for free.

By joining the Mountain Alliance for breakfast, you will also be helping the Mountain Alliance continue to provide high quality service and recreational adventures 100 percent free of cost for any student at Watauga High School.

Painting for a Cause

Jay Winston is a local artist from Blowing Rock who donates 100 percent of his proceeds to the Mountain Alliance. Winston’s work will be displayed Friday, Sept. 7 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in a gallery opening at Rustic, located in downtown Blowing Rock. Join in for appreciation of good art and supporting the Mountain Alliance.
