Disabled American Veterans Mobile Service Office Makes Stop in Boone, May 10 at American Legion Hall

April 19, 2012. On Thursday, May 10, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Mobile Service Office (MSO) will be in Boone from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Watauga American Legion Hall, located at 135 Bear Trail Lane.

Due in large part to a $2 million commitment from the Harley-Davidson Foundation, the DAV MSO program will be able to provide free services and make several stops in the area in the coming months.

At these service stops, a DAV National Service Officer will provide counseling and assistance with filing claims. All National Service Officers are also veterans and are trained in the full range of benefits for military veterans.

All services are free of charge. Just bring your claim number, Social Security number and any other pertinent documents.
