Black Cat Station Railroad Club Announces Open House

June 25, 2012. On Saturday, July 14, there will be an “Open House” at the Black Cat Station Railroad Club, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and everyone is invited to attend. What better place to come and have some fun? As they are a nonprofit organization, there is no admission charge, however donations are greatly appreciated. There’s lots of good times to be had by all, young and old alike.

They’ll have Thomas The Tank trains that the little tykes may run on their own. You’ll have to carry them out to go home!

There will also be an “HO” Scale Model railroad, operating many trains at the same time. The railroad club has loosely recreated the Town of North Wilkesboro in the 1950s which always brings a little nostalgia to the “older generation.”

The Club is located at 800 Elizabeth St., North Wilkesboro (The Old Wilkes Art Gallery).
