April 24, 2012. In/Visible Theatre, in a co-production with the Blue Ridge Community Theatre, is announcing their youth theatre production of “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”

Open auditions for this project will be held on Saturday, April 28, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Appalachian Rhythm Studio at 249 Wilson Drive in Boone. Youth between the ages of 12 and 17 may audition and no acting experience is necessary. Actors may bring a prepared monologue or read a scene from the play, which will be provided. The play will be directed by Karen Sabo and stage managed by Erin Wallace, with rehearsals taking place during May, and traveling performances in early June.

“We intend to produce innovative, entertaining productions for the local community in a truly regional theatre,” said Producing Artistic Director Karen Sabo.
