ASU’s Legends Hosts River Whyless w/ Little Tybee Thursday, March 1

With its new name, new sound and new hometown, River Whyless, band formerly known as Do It To Julia, will perform at Legends on Thursday, March 1. The show will act as the band’s CD release party for “A Stone, A Leaf, An Unfound Door”—the band’s debut album under its new moniker. Doors open at 9:00 p.m. and cost $5 for students in advance and $7 for guests and students at the door. The event is BYOB with a six-pack limit.

Opening up the show is Little Tybee. The Georgia outfit has been described as a “mini orchestra” consisting of anywhere between five and ten members. According to the band’s website, Little Tybee is just as adept at writing lifting pop ballads and sprawling orchestral melodies as they are performing Motown and Tropicalia sounds.
